We decided to try Rudy's as we had never been there. It is confusing when you walk in as there are no signs or directions as to where to go to order or what to do. A person was standing in the store but did not acknowledge us. A girl working there passed by us twice without asking if we needed any help. Finally we flagged her down & asked her how their ordering system works. She pointed over to the large menu on the wall where we could choose our food. Once we moved on to the ordering counter that employee was extremely helpful as she explained everything in detail. We ordered the moist brisket, some potatoes, beans, & 2 sodas. The moist brisket was incredibly fatty...literally had 2 bites of actual meat, threw the rest (fat) away. My tiny little order of new potatoes were ok but swimming in butter, & the beans had very little taste. For $50 worth of food I left there hungry which should never happen. (The meal does comes with bread (very nice) but I could not eat it because I am gluten sensitive.) I should mention while we were ordering another customer advised us to try the cream corn so my husband ordered it but they were all out, I guess that is great. All in all, I would say this is not a restaurant we will come back to, but it does have potential & would be great if the food was better quality!
